Jett Chips Up in Showdown

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Picking up the action on the {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts} turn, Jonathan Landis checked out of the small blind and then called a bet worth 2,500 by Chip Jett as they headed to the {5-Diamonds} on the river. Landis now bet 5,000 and Jett quickly called.

Landis tabled the {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for two pair but Jett had that beat with the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a set to win a seizable pot.

Actually, It's Possible. Kym Possible

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Andrea Buonocore was out of position in heads-up pot against Kym Possible on a board of {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

Buonocore led out with a bet of 3,500 and Possible attempted to raise, which was not possible as she put out too few chips to make it a call.

Buonocore showed {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for a flush, which was no good against the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} of Possible for aces full of fours.

More for White in Showdown

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Three ways to the {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} turn, the action checked to Patrick White on the button and he bet 2,700. Menikos Panagiotou in the big blind and a third player came along and the {3-Clubs} river was then checked. White won the pot with the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} as he held the superior kicker against the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} of Panagiotou.

Blackwood Wins Small Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot to the {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{k-Diamonds} river, Brett Blackwood bet 1,000 and was called by John Jensen. The former tabled the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} and that won the pot, as Jensen only had the {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for an inferior kicker. Also featured on the same table is the former WSOP Main Event champion Joe McKeehen, who sits just below the starting stack.

Zingelmann Among the First Casualties on Day 1

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Pedro Bromfman
Pedro Bromfman

In a three-way three-bet pot to the {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, Pedro Bromfman checked his option and then called a bet worth 2,700 into a pot of 4,500 while in the blinds. Patrick Schuhl also came along as Paula Zingelmann had continued and the {3-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

Both Bromfman and Schuhl checked and Zingelmann then bet 6,500 to face the check-shove by Bromfman. Schuhl got out of the way and Zingelmann called all-in for around 15,000.

Paula Zingelmann: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Pedro Bromfman: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

"What do you have, I can't see it," Zingelmann said from the other side of the table and once Bromfman announced his set of nines, she followed that up with an "I need a king". However, the river was the {3-Clubs} and that only improved Bromfman to nines full of treys, sending Zingelmann to the rail.
