Landis Quadruples Up in Spectacular Fashion

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jonathan Landis was all-in for 31,000 and Ryan Messick called. Maxx Coleman then jammed for 90,000 on the button and Daniel Strelitz jammed over the top for 309,000 in the small blind. Messick folded and the cards were flipped over.

Jonathan Landis: {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Maxx Coleman: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Daniel Strelitz: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

"I think I am behind," Landis joked and then saw the board run out {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to provide an unlikely straight for the quadruple up. "Guess it is better to be lucky than good," Landis concluded.
