Cowen Settles for a Chop

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Robert Cowen raised it up to 3,500 and received one cold caller on the button in Spencer Smith. Out of small blind, Gabriel Attoun then three-bet to 15,500 only for Cowen to four-bet to more than 35,000. Once Smith folded, the Attoun pushed for an effective 130,000 and Cowen snap-folded.

"Do you have aces?" Attoun as the at risk player asked and then apologised in advance for a suckout when his {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} were up against the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} of Cowen. The {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop brought a potential upset via four-card flush but the {9-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river ensured the split pot.
