Romeo Scores a Knockout

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Following a raise to 2,000, Steven Spencer pushed his short stack in for around 16,000 and Andrew Romeo went in over the top for around 27,000 to force out the initial raiser.

Steven Spencer: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Andrew Romeo: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flip went to Romeo thanks to a board of {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

One hand later, Romeo was one of two players to call a raise by David Hu and the only one to check-call a bet worth 2,600 on the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop. They checked the {2-Hearts} turn and Romeo also checked the {4-Hearts} on the river. Before Hu could place his bet worth 8,400, Romeo already said "you win without betting" and tossed the cards into the muck.
