Matthew Mendez opened the action and Paul Hizer then three-bet to 1,600 from one seat over. Anthony Close cold-called in the big blind and Mendez then reraised to 6,700. Hizer eventually called while Close folded.
Heads-up to the 
flop, Mendez continued for 8,700 and Hizer called reluctantly as the 
followed on the turn. Mendez then pushed all-in for 33,300, which had the 20,000 of Hizer covered. The Brit tank-called after some two minutes and the cards were revealed.
