Picking up the action on a completed board of , Ari Engel led out with a bet of 480,000 from the big blind. Matthew Su shoved all in, putting Engel to the test for the 550,000 chips he had behind.

The middle position player asked for a count and, after being told the shove was for 905,000, made the call. The late position player got out of the way and McDermott was officially at risk.
