Su Gets Farnes to Fold a Straight

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

In a limped battle of the blinds, the flop showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Matthew Su with the {k-Clubs}{8-Spades} bet 1,000,000 for Jeffrey Farness to call with the {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for an open-ended straight draw. On the {j-Diamonds} turn, Su increased his bet sizing to 1,500,000 and the call by Farness followed.

That led them to the {9-Clubs} river on which Su now opted to check. Farness bet 2,500,000 and Su then check-raised to 14,000,000. Farness spent more than two minutes into the tank and eventually surrendered.
