Diaz Flops Two Pair

Level 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Matija Dobric opened to 1,600,000 from under the gun and David Diaz called from the hijack. The two players went heads-up to a flop of {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Dobric checked to Diaz who fired out a bet of 2,600,000. Dobric called and the {j-Hearts} landed on the turn.

That appeared to slow the action as both players checked and the {2-Diamonds} completed the board. However, Dobric threw in a min-bet of 800,000 on the river and Diaz quickly called. Dobric showed {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a pair of aces but Diaz tabled {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for two pair to win the pot.
