Su Wins Two In a Roo

Level 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

David Diaz made it 1,800,000 to go from the button and Matthew Su three-bet big to 7,000,000 in the big blind, forcing out Diaz after fewer than half a minute of consideration.

Asher Conniff then raised to 1,600,000 in the very next hand while in the hijack. Diaz called in the cutoff with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Su did so in the small blind with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Three ways to the {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, it checked to Diaz who made it 2,700,000 to go. Su opted to fold while Conniff got out of the way.

The {j-Diamonds} followed on the turn for a straighty and flushy board. Both players checked to the {4-Diamonds} river and Su bet 7,000,000 to claim the pot without resistance as Diaz sent his set of jacks into the muck with a dry smile on the face.
