Saechao Wins High Half; Ware and Concepcion get Quartered

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

"Why did you not bet the last chips?" Mel Judah inquired as Ron Ware had some chips left behind after a three-way pot. Ware replied "I only put all chips in when I have one hundred percent". The {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} of Ware were the nut low on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} board and he chopped that with the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} of Rafael Concepcion.

Kao "Flexx" Saechao won the high pot with the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} as he chipped up thanks to the three-way action.

Three Quarters for Khan

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

On a board of {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}, three and a half full bets each were in between Mohammad Khan and his table neighbor. Khan wound up receiving three quarters of the pot as his {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} had flopped the nut low and a straight, while his opponent had the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for the same nut low and a missed nut flush draw.

David Escapes From Elimination

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Jeanne David
Jeanne David

Jeanne David had survived the bubble with a very short stack and it took a short while to confirm that her {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} had indeed scooped the entire pot on a {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} board. The cards of her opponent were already mucked and David was in a very jovial mood as she joked "I love you" to the player she had doubled through.

"Do you guys know each other?" she was asked and with a smile on the face, David replied "yeah, he is my future ex-husband."

Carter Chops To Preserve Severe Short Stack

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Chris Hundley raised from an early position and Claiborne Carter called all-in with very few chips while all other players folded.

Claiborne Carter: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Chris Hundley: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Carter chopped to stay in contention as he won the high pot with aces and nines while dodging plenty of outs. In the next hand he chopped again to move up to nearly two big bets.

Brewer Eliminated by Lives

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

The {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} of Kevin Brewer were already exposed when he was looked up by Brian Lives with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. The {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop gave Lives a pair and the nut low draw while Brewer picked up a ton of outs on the {9-Spades} turn. The {q-Hearts} river was among them as Lives improved to a straight to deal the final blow.
