Lane Busts and Randolph Survives

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Matt Glantz raised in the cutoff and Bartholomew Randolph pushed all-in for 90,000 on the button. Ron Lane called all-in in the small blind and Matt Vengrin called in the big blind, Glantz also tossed in the additional two chips.

On the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop, Vengrin checked and then folded when Glantz bet.

Ron Lane: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Bartholomew Randolph: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Matt Glantz: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Glantz and Randolph had aces and nines while Lane was hoping for a flush. The {10-Spades} turn added an additional open-ender and gutshot for Lane but he bricked the {5-Diamonds} river to bow out. Glantz and Randolph chopped the main pot and the field was reduced to the final 33 contenders.

Law Leaves Esposito Very Short

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

On a board of {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, Van Law raised the flop and then bet the turn against John Esposito, who came along. Both checked the river and Law announced a set of jacks and tabled the {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. "I flopped perfect," Esposito replied and flashed his {a-Spades}{a-}{3-}{x-} for a mere second before tossing it to he muck.

Esposito Busts in Last Level of the Night

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

John Esposito

John Esposito and Brian Nichols were heads up with maximum raises preflop. Esposito then bet his remaining 15,000 in chips blind.

The flop came down {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and then the cards were flipped.

John Esposito: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{x-}
Brian Nichols: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The turn came {2-Hearts} and the river was a blank which was no help to either Esposito or Nichols. Nichols's ace-king was enough to win the pot and send Esposito to the rails.

Butler Bust Out

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Multi-way action had Brandon Butler in the big blind go up against David Funkhouser and Ronan Nally.

Funkhouser bet on the {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop and got both callers with Butler going all in and an 80,000 side pot for Funkhouser and Nally.

The two remaining players saw the {3-Spades} turn and then checked to the {x-} river. Funkhouser flipped over {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Butler and Nally folded their cards into the muck.

Randolph Ousted by Vengrin

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Preflop, four bets were in when Bartholomew Randolph then announced all-in for "and five more" as in 165,000 total. He was called by Matt Vengrin and Murilo Figueredo. Both active players checked down the entire {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board and the cards were flipped over.

Randolph tabled the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for ace-ten high, which trailed the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} of Figueredo already. However, it was Vengrin who won it all with the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to reduce the field to the final 28 players.

Deeb Eliminated by Law

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Van Law raised and then called a three-bet by Shaun Deeb in the small blind, who had 60,000 behind. Deeb was sporting the hat he had bought off Law when he bet the {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop. Law was pondering about the next move which prompted a "that's the news you want" while waiting for his opponent to act.

The chips then went in anyways as Law raised and Deeb called all-in.

Shaun Deeb: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Van Law: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The {q-Diamonds} turn gave Law an open-ender but instead, he spiked the {2-Clubs} river to make trips and knock out Deeb in 28th place.
