Schwartz Scores a Lucky Double

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Noah Schwartz
Noah Schwartz

Three ways to the {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} with plenty of chips already in the middle, Alfie Adam bet 13,000 and was called by Noah Schwartz only while Yehoshua Saadon folded. The {7-Hearts} turn brought the all-in of Schwartz and Adam snap-called with the former at risk for 25,600.

Noah Schwartz: {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Alfie Adam: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Schwartz had the worse straight but also two pair and was on his way out. However, the {7-Clubs} fell on the river and that improved Schwartz to a full house.

Bleznick Fires Three Barrels

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Jared Bleznick raised to 1,100 in the cutoff and was called by Daemon Richardson in the small blind.

On the monotone {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, Bleznick continued for 1,200 after Richardson checked.

Richardson check-called that bet, along with bets of 1,500 on the {4-Hearts} turn and a meatier 6,200 on the {3-Clubs} river.

"I think you're gonna win," said Bleznick after he was called the final time.

Richardson showed {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, for a flopped two pair which was good enough to take the pot from the sports card guru.

Tsang Chips Up Against Goya

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, Anson Tsang and Dante Goya invested 7,000 each and then checked down the {7-Spades} turn and {6-Hearts} river. Tsang tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for the top set and Goya sent his cards into the muck.

Karakitukov Loses a Small One

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Three ways to the {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} river, Veselin Karakitukov bet 5,000 out of the big blind into a pot of around 9,500. Sean Dechancie then raised it up to 18,200 and that forced out the player on the button.

Karakitukov gave it some thought and came to the same conclusion as he didn't take any further chances.

Small Pot for Kurshumi

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Two ways to the {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, it checked to Ardit Kurshumi and he bet 1,600 for the small blind to call. The {a-Hearts} on the turn was checked through and the {j-Hearts} fell on the river. The small blind checked once more and Kurshumi bet 4,500 in order to force a fold.

Ohel Can't Get One More Bet on River

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Randy Ohel
Randy Ohel

With a bit over 4,000 in the pot already on a turn board of {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Randy Ohel checked from the small blind to Joaoagusto Pimentabueno who bet 3,500.

Ohel checked again on the board-pairing {j-Spades}, but his opponent checked back.

"I won," said Ohel, as he showed {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a winning full house of jacks full of aces.

Small Pot for Kornuth

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Michel Leibgorin and Chance Kornuth checked through the {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop and the {q-Clubs} turn. The {a-Hearts} river was checked by Leibgorin and Kornuth then bet the pot to take it down uncontested. It was a small boost to the stack of Kornuth and Leibgorin also remains in the profit for the day in the corner tables of the Black section.

One table over, Martin Zamani has already lost half of the stack.
