Kruk Soars Above a Million

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Christopher Kruk raised to 28,000 from under the gun and was called by Austin Morin in the cutoff. Kazuhiko Yotsushika potted on the button and received two calls. On a flop of {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}, it checked to Yotsushika and he bet 35,000 for his two opponents to call.

After the {q-Clubs} turn, Kruk and Morin checked again and Yotsushika made it 65,000 to go. This time, only Kruk called and the {10-Clubs} then fell on the river. Kruk bet 502,000 with some 30,000 behind and Yotsushika eventually let go.

Kruk then also won the next far smaller pot against Yotsushika when he bested naked kings with a straight on a low board. All this happend while the tournament was supposed to go on hand-for-hand mode two away from the money as some tables were playing slow.
