Who Will Reach the Final Day of the 2022 WSOP $50,000 Poker Players Championship?
Out of a field of 112 entries in Event #56: $50,000 Poker Players Championship, only 13 contenders remain in contention to claim the gold bracelet and seven-figure top prize. Widely considered to be the Main Event of the mixed game players during the 2022 WSOP at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas, the lion's share of the $5,362,000 prize pool will be awarded within the next two days in the biggest PPC since 2013.
Coincidentally, that was also the year when Matthew Ashton claimed his only WSOP gold bracelet so far and the Brit is one of two former champions of this very event in pursuit of more glory. Ashton returns with a stack of 2,250,000 and shares a table with last year's winner Dan Cates, who has the second-biggest stack of 4,995,000.
Sitting atop the leaderboard is Brazilian superstar and all around talent Yuri Dzivielevski, who will return with 5,645,000 in chips. In total, 10 of the 13 remaining contestants already have a WSOP title to their name which further emphasises the quality at hand for the final two days of this prestigious event.
German mixed game specialist Johannes Becker (3,990,000) is joined by fellow countryman and 2021 WSOP Main Event champion Koray Aldemir (3,205,000). Both will aim to add a second gold bracelet to their tally and the same also applies for Japan's Naoya Kihara as well.

Day 4 will recommence at 2pm local time on the feature tables in the Bally's Event Center. As usual, the levels will last 100 minutes each and the big bets within the nine-game rotation will be 160,000. Once the field is down to the final 12 players, they will redraw to two tables and then combine to one table for the seven-handed unofficial final table thereafter.
