Mizrachi Adds to the Pot ... Literally
No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw
After the first draw already completed, Michael Mizrachi bet 200,000 with slightly more than that behind. It sent Philip Sternheimer into the tank and both started chatting. Mizrachi was willing to wager $10,000 in cash that he had a wheel, while Sternheimer responded "I think you have a straight".
What followed was Mizrachi pulling out some $100 bills and promised toput them into the middle, suggesting that Sternheimer would win those too if he called and won the hand. More chatter followed and Mizrachi grabbed back into his pockets to add more bills to the equation which saw Adam Friedman raise his eyebrows.
"What? I am adding to the pot," Mizrachi said with a big grin on the face.
Sternheimer then proposed that his opponent would take a picture and ultimately folded for Mizrachi to indeed squeeze the cards on his knee and snap a shot with the words "I'll send it to you later". He collected the chips and pulled back the cash, too.
In the very next hand, Mizrachi and Michael Moncek discarded one. Mizrachi's bet of what appeared to be 80,000 was paid off as he won with a ten-seven.
