Rast Pays Off Kenney; Busts to Fraser

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Brian Rast and Bryn Kenney, the board showed . Rast checked and then faced a bet worth 19,000 by Kenney, which sent him into a tank. The reluctant call followed and Kenney had the best hand in to leave Rast with his head shaking.
Two hands later, Rast opened to 9,000 off a short stack and Chris Fraser eyeballed the chips of his table neighbor before pushing all in with a near identical stack in the small blind. Kenney forfeited the big blind and Rast instantly called.

The flop kept Rast in the lead but Fraser picked up additional outs on the turn. Sure enough, the fell on the river to give Fraser a wheel and the stacks were counted. Rast had 94,500 and was covered by a mere 1,500, and eliminated.
