Yunis Wins a Showdown Pot; Panagiotou Caps in Hold'em

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Menikos Panagiotou raised the button and Nick Yunis three-bet in the small blind for the initial raiser to call. On the {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop, Yunis bet and Panagiotou called. The same procedure repeated on the {6-Hearts} tun and they checked the {5-Hearts} on the river. Yunis showed the {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and that won the pot.

Joon Park then raised the button and Panagiotou made it three bets in the small blind. "What's the cap?" Yunis in the big blind inquired before he then four-bet. Park got out of the way and Panagiotou then capped to five bets as Yunis called.

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Panagiotou bet and received a call from Yunis. They checked the {5-Clubs} on the turn and Panagiotou bet the {4-Hearts} river, which brought a smile on the face of Yunis before he mentioned "I don't think I am ever good there."

"What do you have?" the Cypriot asked and Yunis replied "two pair" almost instantly. Ultimately, Yunis folded and Panagiotou flashed the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} before raking in the pot and pulling even with Yunis at the top of the leaderboard.
