Schwartz On the Rail; Cochrane on Fumes

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Noah Schwartz was spotted on the rail and recalled his final hand in which he flopped the top set with {k-}{k-}{q-}{4-} and called a raise to 50,000 by Vasil Medarov on a {k-}{9-}{5-} flop. On the {9-} turn, Medarov bet 35,000 to earn a call and Medarov jammed the {4-} river.

Schwartz called with kings full and Medarov tabled the {q-}{9-}{9-}{2-} for quads.

Likewise, Danny Hannawa sits on a very large stack after he had just doubled through Gavin Cochrane to leave the Brit on fumes.

Kronwitter Takes From Riordan

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

John Riordan opened to 4,000 and then called a three-bet to 14,000 by Jonas Kronwitter as they headed to a flop of {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Both checked and Kronwitter bet the {4-Diamonds} turn for 6,500, which Riordan paid. After the {9-Diamonds} river, Riordan check-folded to another bet by Kronwitter.

The early chip leader on their table os Duarte Baptista, who has already nearly doubled his starting stack.

The Chips Are Flying

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Three ways to the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} turn, Thomas Saad bet 12,000 out of the small blind and Tan Nguyen called from under the gun while Anthony Marsico folded. The {6-Clubs} river was checked and Nguyen's {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush won the pot.

One hand later, Marsico bet the {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} flop for 16,000 and Saad raised the pot to 90,000 for Marsico to fold. "I'll show you," Saad said and flashed the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

In the very next hand, Aaron Katz three-bet the pot preflop for Nguyen to call and then gave up post flop, flashing four red high cards when he folded to Nguyen's aggression.

Max Kruse was facing a bet of 32,000 on the river as the board read {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} with a pot of about 60,000 in the middle. James Cavanaugh was in the small blind and had led out to but the decision on Kruse who was in the cutoff.

Kruse eventually called as the clock ticked down. Cavanaugh tabled {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} for the straight to win the hand and send Kruse down to a short stack.

Wiszowaty Three-Bets "Shit"; Makes a Straight

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With 71,200 in the middle to the {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} river, Philip Wiszowaty bet 32,000 out of the big blind. Vasil Medarov folded but Dylan Smith in the cutoff made the call.

Wiszowaty tabled the {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} to win the pot and then jokingly asked "anyone else reraise 21k with this shit?" before collecting the pot.

Katz Cannot Get Rid of Katz

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The seat of Chance Kornuth was open while a bigger pot was brewing between Tan Nguyen and Aaron Katz. On a {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Nguyen check-called for 25,000 and then did so again for 55,000 on the {9-Spades} turn.

Both checked the {10-Clubs} river with Katz banging his hand on the table displaying plenty of frustration as he did so. Nguyen announced an ace and flashed the {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, which beat the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades} of Katz.

Marsico and Crivello Chop it Up with Identical Two Pair

Level 6 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

The flop read {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. From the button, Anthony Marsico bet 16,000. Frank Crivello made a big raise to 75,000 and Marsico called.

The turn was the {k-Clubs}. Both players checked it to the {6-Spades} which they also checked down.

Crivello tabled the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, which Marsico matched with the {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} as they both had tens and eights and the dealer started to split up the pot.
