Small Pot for Brewer

Level 1 : 300/500, 500 ante

There are a few very large pots happening but most hands result in limited action with the conclusion either before the flop or after. One of them saw an open raise by Farid Jattin and he was called by Eelis Pärssinen and Chris Brewer out of the blinds.

Pärssinen and Brewer checked the {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop and Jattin continued for 2,000, which Pärssinen called. Brewer then check-raised to 7,000 and that got the job done to force two folds.

Katz Gets Caught Bluffing by Pärssinen

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

Eelis Pärssinen defended the big blind and check-called a bet on the {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop. Both then checked the {q-Spades} on the turn. Pärssinen also checked the {5-Diamonds} on the river and Aaron Katz bet 10,000.

After a few seconds of consideration, Pärssinen called and Katz announced "you got it, three sixes and a king" without showing his cards. Pärssinen rolled over {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for sevens and fours to win the pot.

Trang Wins Three-Way Pot

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

Action came in on the flop of {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} with three players in the hand. It checked all around.

The turn was the {k-Clubs}. Parvis Razavian led for 3,000 from the small blind. Michael Heritsch called from the big blind. Christopher Trang raised to 17,000 from the hijack and both opponents called the raise.

The river was the {4-Spades}. Everyone checked. Razavian showed a {k-}, Heritsch showed two pair {k-Diamonds}{6-} but Trang had them both beat with top two as he showed the {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and gathered the pot.

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante
Krasimir Yankov
Krasimir Yankov

On a flop of {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}, John Riordan checked and Krasimir Yankov bet 4,500. Riordan then check-raised the pot to 22,800 and Yankov came along. The {10-Hearts} turn brought a second flush draw and Riordan fired a pot-sized bet of 54,900, earning a call from Yankov.

Both checked the {8-Hearts} on the river and Riordan tabled the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for a set of sevens and busted open-ender. Yankov had that beat with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} for the seven-high straight and dragged in a very healthy pot soon after entering the field.

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

There was 8,900 in the middle preflop as the flop came {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Jared Bleznick, Bryce Yockey and Michael Heritsch all checked.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} to put three hearts on the board. All checked again to the river which was the {7-Clubs}. It checked to Bleznick on the button who fired 20,000. Yockey folded from middle position and Heritsch called in the cutoff.

Bleznick tabled the {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Spades} for a flush as Heritsch dusted off some more chips early in the day.
