Weisman Loses to Katz; Vanishes After

Level 11 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dylan Weisman bet the {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} turn for 30,000 and Aaron Katz called. The {4-Diamonds} fell on the river and Weisman now checked. Katz bet 75,000 for a large portion of Weisman's stack and forced a fold.

Down to around 120,000, Weisman was spotted walking out of the tournament area soon after.

Jouhkimainen Soars to the Top Spot

Level 11 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Joni Jouhkimainen
Joni Jouhkimainen

Joni Jouhkimainen had previously won a large pot and then bet a heads-up river of {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for 18,000, which Phil Galfond called. The Finn tabled {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for not only a straight but also flush to win the pot.

Erik Seidel then got it in with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} on a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Jouhkimainen looked him up holding the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}. Neither the {3-Clubs} turn nor the {4-Clubs} river produced a miracle for Seidel and the next pot was pushed to Jouhkimainen.

Negreanu Busts For a Second Time

Level 11 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu was all in preflop and had his phone out recording his all in for his vlog. He was up against Parviz Razavian.

Daniel Negreanu: {k-Hearts}{k-}{4-Hearts}{2-}
Parviz Razavian: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The flop came {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} to give Negreanu a heart draw as he called for a heart for dramatic effect in the video. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and the river the {2-Diamonds} to miss Negreanu and bust him. He jokingly flipped off the camera in his recording as Razavian got a good laugh and a great memory for him for busting Negreanu as his own stack got some much-needed help.

Negreanu went to go buy back in and re-joined the felt for his final bullet a few minutes later.

Medarov Chips Up Against Wiszowaty

Level 11 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Philip Wiszowaty bet the {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} river for 30,000 and Vasil Medarov called after brief consideration. The {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} of Wiszowaty were revealed but they were no good, as Medarov had that beat with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a set of tens.

Saad Pays Off Karakitukov

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Veselin Karakitukov and Thomas Saad, the completed board showed {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. With nearly 300,000 in the middle, Karakitukov bet 180,000 and that sent Saad deep into the tank. He used all his remaining time banks and had three minutes to make a decision.

With three seconds left on the shot clock, he announced the call and put the chips in. Karakitukov tabled the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the flopped jack-high straight and won the pot, as Saad mucked four black cards including the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks.
