Shuda Gets Shorter; Arieh Chips Up
Level 27
: 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Tong Li limped in the cutoff and Gregory Shuda did so in the small blind, Josh Arieh checked out of the big blind. On the flop, only Shuda check-called for 250,000 when Arieh bet and then led the turn for 500,000.
Arieh gave it brief consideration and raised to 1,100,000, which won the pot right there as Shuda folded.
One hand later, Fabian Brandes opened to 300,000 and Jonathan Depa three-bet the pot to 1,150,000 from the very next seat to collect the chips uncontested.
