Ball Is Taking His Chances

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Scott Ball and Chance Kornuth tangled in yet another decent pot and that led them to the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts} river, on which Ball bet 750,000 out of the big blind. Kornuth then popped it up to 1,800,000 and Ball let go.

"I just had that feeling I might bluff into quads again," Kornuth joked, referring to a previous hand against Fabian Brandes.

Ball then recovered some of the losses soon after against Jared Bleznick. Both invested 150,000 on the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs} turn and Ball led the pot for 1,140,000 on the {q-Spades} river. Bleznick folded near instantly as Ball vaulted back above three million in chips.
