Negreanu Chips Up With Aces; Maksimov Jams Up Stack

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Three ways to the {k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, Artem Maksimov checked and Daniel Negreanu bet 30,000. Frank Crivello raised to 80,000 in order to force out Maksimov and Negreanu called after very brief consideration.

After the {4-Spades} turn, Negreanu check-called for another 100,000 and they checked the {k-Diamonds} on the river. "Aces," Negreanu declared and tabled the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

That was good enough to win the pot as Crivello mucked while Maksimov exclaimed "every time" while glancing at table neighbour Negreanu.

One hand later, Duarte Baptista opened to 25,000 and Daniel Chuprun called. Maksimov three-bet to 110,000 in the small blind and received two calls. The {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop brought the open-shove by Maksimov for 241,000 and he won the pot uncontested.
