Greg Mueller Eliminated in 9th Place ($32,608)

Level 20
Greg Mueller
Greg Mueller

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Within two hands, the stack of Greg Mueller was melted to zero and he exited in ninth place. Below is how it all unfolded.

Greg Mueller: {x-}{x-} / {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} / {x-}
Brian Rast: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}

Brian Rast had the lead and bet it all the way with Mueller calling down. He sighed on fifth street and mentioned "that's a spot to be in, eh" but invested the chips anyways. As he also called sixth, he only had a few chips behind.

Rast already exposed his {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for aces and fours before his last card was delivered and Mueller studied his cards before sigh-folding as he was left with fumes.

Those went in the following hand on third street already.

Greg Mueller: {7-Spades}{3-Clubs} / {9-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} / {5-Hearts}
Ben Diebold: {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} / {4-Hearts}
Brian Rast: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} fold on fourth

Ben Diebold and Rast came along when Mueller was all-in and Diebold then bet fourth to force out Rast. Until sixth, Diebold had a straight and the low locked up. Mueller needed a six or jack to chop but bricked to bow out in 9th place for $32,608.
