Florian Fuchs:
Salko Imsirovic:
Fuchs was left in dire shape and picked up some back door equity on the flop. However, the turn instantly left him drawing dead and the river was a mere formality. Both stacks were counted and Fuchs had exactly one million, which Imsirovic had covered by a mere 10,000 in chips.

The remaining 243 players are heading on their first break of the day. It will roughly be a 25-minute break as the tournament staff colors up the 1,000 denomination chips. Here is a look at what happened in the first level of Day 5:
Qui Nguyen moved all-in for around 455,000 and Jesse Lonis eyeballed the stack from the other side of the table before making the call in the cutoff. All players behind got out of the way and the cards were flipped over.
Qui Nguyen:
Jesse Lonis:
The rail of Nguyen was pulling closer to the table in order to see the showdown. However, they didn't have any reason to celebrate as the board ran out . Nguyen failed to improve and Lonis held up with his pocket pair to send the 2016 WSOP Main Event champion to the rail.
Since no former winners are in the remaining field, it's now certain that a new World Champion will be crowned on November 17.
