Following an open raise to 800 and two calls including David Kim on the button, Paul Marzarella three-bet to 4,500 in the big blind and was called by Yervand Boyadjian in a middling position and Kim. The flop fell and Marzarella bet 5,000 for Boyadjian to raise to 13,700, which forced a fold from Kim and earned a call from Marzarella.
After the turn, Marzarella checked and Boyadjian announced a bet of 12,800. As he splashed in the chips, Marzarella tried to eyeball the stack of his opponent and Boyadjian immediately said "I have 50 behind, I have you covered" to then earn a call.
Marzarella then checked the on the river. Boyadjian jammed and Marzarella called all-in for the 12,800 he had behind. "I knew it," Boyadjian sighed as he flashed the for a bluff gone wrong and Marzarella doubled with his for queens and jacks.
Ayman Mahfoud raised from the cutoff, Daniel Negreanu three-bet on the button, Ross Feldman called the three-bet from the small blind. Mahfoud then four-bet, Negreanu five-bet jammed all in, Feldman folded and Mahfoud snap-called.
Daniel Negreanu:
Ayman Mahfoud:
It was the worst news possible for Negreanu as he was looking for a king to keep his main event from ending so soon.
But the flop came to effectively end things, the turn was the and the river the to eliminate Negreanu who started to record his final hand as his Main Event ended disappointingly early for him and his many fans in the poker world.
Toby Lewis raised under-the-gun to 800 and was called by Chris Hunichen in early position and Courtney Webb in the small blind.
The flop came down and action checked over to Lewis who continuation-bet for 1,500 and was called by both Hunichen and Webb.
The turn came out a and Webb led for 2,500 into the pot which was called by Lewis and folded to by Hunichen.
The river was seen heads up and it came out an which was bet at by Webb to the tune of 12,000 which sent Lewis into the tank. After about 30-seconds Lewis folded and Webb collected the pot.
Daniel Lowery is an accomplished mid-stakes grinder with nine rings and 89 cashes on the WSOP circuit, but he's still looking for his first bracelet. Lowery made the final table and finished ninth in the 2021 $600 Deepstack event, and he's looking for a deep run in the Main Event.
Lowery raised to 800 from middle position and the small blind three-bet to 3,800. Lowery called and the flop was .
The small blind checked and Lowery bet 3,000. The small blind called and the turn was .

The small blind turned over and Lowery mucked the losing hand.
Action picked up on the turn between Chris Hunichen and an opponent out of position. With 8,300 in the pot the opponent bet 4,000. Hunichen thought about it briefly before he called and the two of them took a river.
The river came out a and the action checked through. The opponent verbally declared "ace high," and Hunichen turned over for nines and fives which was good for the pot.
Action picked up on the flop of with Pratt betting 2,500 into a pot between her and David Simon. Simon responded with a raise to 8,200, which was followed by a re-raise from Pratt to 22,500. Simon thought about it for a bit before moving all-in for 55,800 and Pratt called.
David Simon:
Denise Pratt:
The board ran out and Pratt was unable to find an ace to make a better set and Simon scooped the pot with his set of queens.
The World Series of Poker is another day closer to crowning it's Main Event champion but there is still plenty of action to come as Day 1e gets underway at 11 a.m. PT.
The first four starting flights have seen a total of 4,518 entries with 3,331 players surviving the first five levels to bag and tag for one of the two Day 2 flights.
Day 1d has had the most entries of any of the starting flights so far, with 1,939 players out of 2,550 making it to the next stage of the event.
Among the notables to run up a solid stack on the fourth Day 1 were Adedapo Ajayi (340,900), Zachary Grech (318,400), David "Bakes" Baker (247,300), Dan Shak (229,200), and David Stefanski (213,900).
The father and son duo of Peter Robinson (109,900) and GG Twitch Squad member Lukas "RobinPoker" Robinson (144,200) also managed to end the day with six-figure chip counts.

Adam Levy, Michael Ruane, Jason Somerville, Eric "BarstoolNate" Nathan, Joseph Cheong, Esther Taylor, Brandon Shack-Harris, Ryan Laplante, Julien Martini, Phil Laak, and David Williams were among the notables to fall at the first hurdle.
Two former WSOP Main Event champions were also eliminated in Day 1d. Joe McKeehen and Greg Raymer failed to make it through to Day 2 in pursuit of earning a repeat victory.
It will be hard to beat yesterday's total number of entries, but if Day 1e and Day 1f have similar numbers, the record attendance for the Main Event will be eclipsed. In 2012, the largest ever Main Event, 8,773 players entered the field which was famously won by Jamie Gold.
The final two flights are expected to see a host of players from all around the globe join the event, as today, November 8 is the date that international travel restrictions ease in the United States.
