Muallem Gets Some Back From Duong

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Noam Muallem
Noam Muallem

Noam Muallem, wearing a furry panda hat, bet 2,000 on the river {7-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} with 6,000 already in the middle.

Kristy Duong tanked for a moment before making the call.

"No quads this time," said Muallem.

Muallem turned over {j-Spades}{3-Spades} for jacks and eights and Duong mucked.

"You call me with ace-high," asked Muallem? "You're paying me what you owe me for the quads."

Muallem is sitting comfortably on more than 80,000, and his head is no doubt comfortable too with his panda hat.

With {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Spades} on the board and around 5,000 in the pot, David "ODB" Baker bet 5,000 from the big blind. Michael Noori raised to 15,000 and Baker immediately made it 30,000.

Noori went deep into the tank for several minutes before he announced the fold and showed {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for aces full of sevens.

Baker showed {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} for aces full of jacks and the table acknowledged the impressive fold while Noori exhaled.

Maurice Hawkins

Maurice Hawkins and his opponent both put in 3,000 on the flop {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades} with approximately 15,000 in the middle.

On the turn {3-Spades}, Hawkins' opponent check-called a bet of 3,400.

The river was the {k-Diamonds}, and Hawkins' opponent check-folded to an all-in bet of about 8,000 from Hawkins.

Smith Cracks Blumstein's Aces, It Could Have Been Worse

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Scott Blumstein
Scott Blumstein

Rex Smith limped from under the gun. The action folded to Scott Blumstein in the cutoff who raised it up to 1,300. It folded back around to Smith and he four-bet to 3,800.

Blumstein opted to just call going to a flop that read {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Smith lead with a bet of 5,500 and Blumstein quickly called.

The action checked through the {k-Clubs} turn.

The {k-Diamonds} came on the river pairing the board. Smith checked and thought that he saw Blumstein check so he tabled his hand which was the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Smith turned his hand back over when he realized that Blumstein had not acted.

Blumstein was tickled by what had happened and said, "I check" as he tabled pocket aces.

Smith took down the pot with trip kings having saved Blumstien from committing more chips to the pot by acting out of turn.

Early Exit for Leng Against Hunichen

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

The cards were already on their backs with the turn reading {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} when Ryan Leng was all-in and at risk holding the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the top two pair. Chris Hunichen had the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nut flush tabled and the {7-Hearts} river paired the board but failed to improve Leng.

"Good game guys," Leng said on the way out as Hunichen slowly raked in the pot while he was enjoying a massage.
