McClelland Takes It on the Turn

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player opened to 700 and Jack McClelland three-bet on the button for 1,700. After some thinking, his opponent called.

The flop revealed {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and McClelland's opponent check-called a continuation bet for 1,100. When the {a-Diamonds} fell on the turn, it was checked again to McClelland who sent 3,000 in the middle. His opponent took a minute and folded his hand, revealing {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

River Check-Raise Takes it For Sylvia

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Three ways on a {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Jesse Sylvia checked from the middle position, the cutoff checked and the button checked behind.

The turn brought the {9-Hearts} and Sylvia led out for 1,400. Both his opponents called.

Action checked to the button on the {6-Spades} turn and he bet 8,000. Sylvia paused for about a minute and then cut out a raise to 32,000 and placed it into the middle. Both his opponents quickly folded and Sylvia collected the pot.
