Aces for Patni, Schwartz Gets Away

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Noah Schwartz opened in early position and a player in late position flat-called. Kunal Patni on the button then three-bet to 4,300 and only Schwartz called.

Schwartz checked on the flop reading {4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and folded when Patni fired a continuation bet of 4,300.

Patni held up {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} for his opponent to see before sliding in his cards and raking in the pot.

"I got very lucky," Schwartz said. "I had ace-king of hearts."

Walker's Aces Hold to Eliminate Corsi

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

With around 25,000 in the middle already the flop was {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and John Corsi led out for 15,000 before Michael Walker Jammed all of it in the middle, having Corsi covered. Corsi took a little over two minutes to decide what to do and eventually decided to call off his stack of 44,100.

John Corsi: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Michael Walker: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Corsi was unlucky to run into Walker's aces with his kings and the board was no help when it ran out {3-Clubs} on the turn and {3-Diamonds} on the river.

Ryan Laplante
Ryan Laplante

Ryan Laplante three-bet to 1,800 on the button after a raise from the hijack and it folded back to his opponent who made the call.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades} and the hijack check-called Laplante for another bet worth 4,200. The {3-Hearts} on the turn brought no betting action.

A {j-Spades} completed the board on the river and the hijack checked again. Laplante thought about his move for some time and sent a bet for 12,200. His opponent snap-folded.
