Ludlow Comes Out Firing After Dinner

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Ben Ludlow
Ben Ludlow

On a turn board reading {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}, action had been checked to a player in middle position, who bet 6,000.

Gregory Jensen called in early position, and then Ben Ludlow check-raised to 20,000.

The late-position player folded, and after a bit of time, Jensen folded as well.

Ludlow dragged the pot for a nice start to his final two levels of the day.

Jachtmann Chipping Up

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the big blind was in a heads-up pot against the button.

Jachtmann checked on the flop of {8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and called a bet of 1,300 from his opponent. Jachtmann checked again on the {5-Spades} turn and his opponent checked back.

Jachtmann checked a third time on the {6-Clubs} river and his opponent also checked. The opponent showed ace-high, which was no good against the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} of Jachtmann.
