Hands #177-179: Aldemir Correctly Calls With Bottom Pair

Level 40 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Hand #177: George Holmes opened to 4,000,000 and Koray Aldemir called out of the big blind as the duo headed to the {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and opted to check. After the {8-Hearts} turn, Aldemir checked once more and Holmes bet for 4,000,000. Aldemir spent 30 seconds in and tank and came along to the {k-Hearts} on the river.

Both players checked and the next pot went to Holmes, as his {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of eights was enough to take it down.

Hand #178: Aldemir limped the button and Holmes knuckled it to the {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. Holmes checked and Aldemir bet 3,400,000 in order to claim the pot.

Hand #179: Holmes min-raised the button to 4,000,000 and Aldemir filled up. The {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop went check, check, and the {7-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Aldemir checked once more and so did Holmes, which led to the {a-Clubs} on the river. The check by Aldemir triggered a bet worth 4,400,000 by Holmes and Aldemir called.

The {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} of Holmes were briefly shown but Aldemir won the pot with the {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a pair of treys.
