It's Always Coming Seven After All

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
John Gonzalez
John Gonzalez

John Gonzalez ended up all-in before the flop against Jonas Hagstrom and the Punters Pad crew on the rail assembled for the flip.

John Gonzalez: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Jonas Hagstrom: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop propelled Hagstrom in the lead but Gonzalez predicted that the seven would come. That wasn't the case on the {6-Diamonds} turn but the {7-Diamonds} fell on the river.

"The seven is always coming. It's table 477," Ehsan Amiri joked. Gonzalez doubled for 880,000 and essentially traded the stack sizes with Hagstrom.
