Fuhs Chips Up Early

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Juan Sosa was eliminated shortly after coming back and Kevin Bayer saw his stack reduced to a short stack moments later on the same table. After a raise to 4,800 and three callers, it was Bayer who bet each street. On the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop he bet 6,000 and was called by Daniel Fuhs while Per Hildebrand and Daniel Lowery both folded.

Bayer's bets of 11,000 on the {4-Spades} turn and 35,000 on the {7-Clubs} river were called and he rolled over the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Fuhs had that beat with {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights to win the pot.
