and check-called a bet worth 4,000 on a 
flop.
He checked behind the 
turn which brought a second flush draw and then bet the 
river for 3,700. His opponent raised to 12,000 and Lappin reraised to 27,000 in order to get called by pocket jacks to claim the pot with the nut straight.
Fellow Irishman Dara O'Kearney has also opted to enter Day 2 and already boosted his stack after sitting down.
