Mateos Loses Some; Gets it All Back

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Adrian Mateos raised to 1,500 and was called by Amnon Filippi, Chris Sandrock and Warwick Dunnett in the big blind. They checked the {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop and Sandrock bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 3,000, earning two calls.

On the {10-Diamonds} river, Sandrock checked and Dunnett bet 6,000. Only Mateos called and mucked an inferior flush when Dunnett revealed the {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Shortly after, Mateos tangled in a big pot with Sandrock as they went all the way to the {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} river with 80,000 in the middle. Mateos bet 52,200 and Sandrock eventually folded.
