Unusual Hold'em Play for Becker

Johannes Becker admitted that this is only the third No-Limit Hold'em tournament during the 2021 WSOP so far and the first two events "lasted only two hours." He had far fewer chips and big blinds at his disposal, though, and just won a small pot right away.
Becker opened to 500 and the big blind defended. They checked the 
flop and Becker then bet the 
turn for 1,000 when checked to in order to win the pot.
