Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 200,000 in early position, then Ren Lin moved-all-in for a little over a million in the small blind.

Badziakouski went into the tank, with Lin chiding him, saying "thank you for doubling me up" and "no gamble? Why'd you bet?"

Ultimately Badziakouski opted to call.

Ren Lin: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Mikita Badkouski: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to double Lin up.

"Touchdown Tom Brady" said Lin as the chips were pushed his way.

Christoph Vogelsang Eliminated in 12th Place ($92,407)

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Christoph Vogelsang

Christoph Vogelsang was all-in preflop against Stephen Chidwick, who had Vogelsang covered.

Christoph Vogelsang: {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Chidwick had Vogelsang dominated, and the {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} runout kept Chidwick out in front — eliminating Vogelsang in 12th place.

Ranganath Kanchi Eliminated in 13th Place ($92,407)

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Ranganath Kanchi

Action folded around to the blinds, where Jason Koon shoved to put Ranganath Kanchi all in for his remaining stack. Kanchi instantly called and hands were tabled.

Ranganath Kanchi: {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Jason Koon: {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop pulled Kanchi ahead and he would stay ahead on the {j-Spades} turn; however, the {4-Clubs} river paired Koon's four and Kanchi was eliminated in 13th place.

"I don't know if my shove was good or a torch!" an incredulous Koon said after the hand. "That was crazy."

Barry Hutter
Barry Hutter

On a flop of {4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} Barry hutter checked and raised the 100,000 chip bet by Stephen Chidwick to 260,000. After a brief moment, Chidwick made the call.

The turn card was the {10-Clubs} and Hutter led for 255,000 and Chidwick called.

The river was the {a-Clubs} and Hutter moved all-in and Chidwick snap-called.

The hands were tabled and it was the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} held by Chidwick for the better full house versus the {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} held by Hutter, and the latter was eliminated in 14th place and took home $84,486 in cash for his effort.

Badziakouski Doubles Through Kanchi

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

After Ranganath Kanchi limped in middle position, Mikita Badziakouski called in the small blind and Elio Fox checked his big blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and after a pair of checks in front of him, Kanchi bet 175,000. Only Badziakouski called.

The turn brought the {k-Diamonds}, and again Badziakouski checked. This time he faced a bet of 500,000 from Kanchi, which he then check-raised all-in for about 1.1 million. Kanchi made the call.

Mikita Badziakouski: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Ranganath Kanchi: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Badziakouski had Kanchi crushed with his set versus top pair and a flush draw.

Badziakouski faded the flush with the {8-Clubs} on the river, getting a big double-up and dropping Kanchi under a million chips.

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 160,000 from the hijack and Antonios Rouggeris shoved for less from the cutoff. Ranganath Kanchi called from the big blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Kanchi check-folded facing an 80,000 bet from Badziakouski and hands were revealed.

Mikita Badziakouski: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Antonios Rouggeris: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Rouggeris was looking to spike one of his overcards to survive, but the {6-Clubs} turn and {5-Spades} river bricked out for Rouggeris and he was eliminated in 15th place.

Shaun Deeb Eliminated in 16th Place ($84,486)

Level 17 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

On a {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Shaun Deeb check-raised all-in versus Ali Imsirovic who had bet in early position.

Shaun Deeb: {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Ali Imsirovic: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Deeb had started the hand with about 900,000, and his top pair was in bad shape versus Imsirovic's aces.

The {q-Spades}{9-Hearts} runout couldn't save Deeb, who leaves the tournament with a min-cash of just under $85,000.

Villamarin Heater Sends Him Toward Chip Lead

Level 17 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Carlos Villamarin
Carlos Villamarin

After being put to the test for his tournament life against Jason Koon and calling correctly with a rivered top pair, Carlos Villamarin just won a huge pot off Ren Lin to now challenge Koon for the chip lead.

On a turn board reading {7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades}, Villamarin checked to Lin, who bet 150,000. Villamarin replied with a check-raise to 675,000.

Once again, Lin dropped a "no gamble no future" reference as he moved all-in for 2,240,000 effective.

Villamarin snap-called and showed Lin the nuts.

Carlos Villamarin: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Ren Lin: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {3-Clubs} on the river couldn't save Lin, and his stack was shrunk below two million, while Villamarin soars over five million.

Deeb Doubles Through Leng

Level 17 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

All of the chips went into the middle preflop, and it was Shaun Deeb who held {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} versus the pocket {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} held by Leng.

The dealer flopped the {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-} and Leng remained ahead but Deeb flopped an open-ended straight draw.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Deeb turned a straight to take the lead.

The river card was the {10-Hearts} and that made it official as Deeb survived his all-in and chipped up to over one million.
