Dealt Quads for Elezra; Salazar Busts After the Bubble

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

5 Card Draw

Amnon Filippi was the first player out in the money and Hernan Salazar followed shortly after. A short-stacked Salazar was already at risk and got called by Kevin Gerhart and Eli Elezra. Salazar discarded three while Gerhart and Elezra took one card each.

Elezra then bet 42,000 and Gerhart moved all-in, earning a snap-call by Elezra within a fraction of a second.

"Quads!" Elezra immediately announced and rolled over the {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} before then adding "sorry Hernan, I got dealt quads with a jack". The cards of Salazar were almost instantly mucked and Gerhart exposed {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for two pair and paid off the 120,000 of Elezra.

Elezra's Heater Continues; Tops 400,000

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

On a {3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, Eli Elezra led into Ryan Hughes for 13,000 and Hughes called.

Elezra kept firing on the {q-Clubs} turn, this time for 35,000. Again Hughes called.

The dealer placed the {j-Clubs} on the river and once more, Elezra bet, this time for 18,000.

Hughes couldn't call the bet and Elezra dragged another big pot to send his stack over the 400,000 mark.

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

A massive three-way Badacey pot just left Jason Lipiner on fumes.

Hisham Salama: {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Jason Lipiner: {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Thorpe won half the pot with a six low, while Salama took the other half with a five badugi. Lipiner busted shortly after.
