Kihara Wins With Kings

Level 9 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Naoya Kihara raised under-the-gun and was three-bet by Josh Arieh on the button. Action folded back to Kihara, who called.

Kihara check-called a bet from Arieh on the {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop and both players checked on the {2-Hearts} turn.

Kihara led out for a bet when the {10-Spades} completed the board and Arieh called.

Kihara revealed {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for deuces-full of kings and Arieh mucked.

No-Limit Hold'em

Nick Schulman raised and was called only by Julien Martini in the big blind. The Frenchman check-called a bet of 6,500 on the {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop and then did so again for 11,000 on the {j-Hearts} turn. Martini elected to check the {5-Spades} river as well and Schulman now overbet for 55,000.

That sent Martini into a longer tank and he ended up sending his cards into the muck.

Level 9 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

George Wolff departed at almost the same time and Michael Mizrachi was eliminated by Paul Volpe to become the third casualty in very quick succession.
