Schulman Beats Negreanu in Showdown

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Razz

Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{2-}{7-}{9-} / {x-}
Nick Schulman: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{9-}{5-}{a-} / {x-}

Daniel Negreanu completed with an ace and was called by Nick Schulman. Negreanu bet fourth street to receive a call and both checked fifth. Schulman bet his lead on sixth for Negreanu to call and they checked seventh. Schulman tabled {k-}{5-}{2-} for a nine-five and Negreanu grabbed his cards in frustration, bending one of them in a sheer frustration.

"I was gonna say he ace looks marked but that one definitely is," Chris Brewer joked when the ten of diamonds was very obviously damaged.
