Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Frank Kassela was last seen with a shorter stack prior to the break and he has since been eliminated. The second open seat on the table was filled by Tony Hartmann, who was moved over to balance the field as two new players entered.

According to Anthony Zinno, Michael Mizrachi raised to 7,000 and was called by Kassela in the small blind in a round of No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw. Kassela drew one and Mizrachi patted. What followed was the check by Kassela and he called all-in for 40,000 with a nine-eight only to get shown an eight by Mizrachi.

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and George Alexander are now in contention, which has brought up the field to 53 total entries.
