Le's Hero Call Rewarded With a Double

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Tommy Le
Tommy Le

All other players were already gone but Tommy Le was still involved in a pot that ultimately put his tournament life at risk. He was involved in the action from the cutoff and Michael Batell was the sole remaining opponent out of the big blind. They had created a pot of 164,000 to the {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Spades} river on which Batell bet the pot.

Le was deep in the tank several minutes into the break and then ultimately called for the last 113,000. Batell rolled over the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} for just a pair of eights, and Le doubled with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a pair of kings.
