Kornuth Doubles Through Aces

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Chance Kornuth raised to 4,200 and the hijack three-bet to 14,400, which Scott Eskenazi called in the cutoff. "Can I see your stack," Kornuth asked over to Eskenazi and received a quick reply before sticking around.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Kornuth opted to check-raise from 15,000 to 50,000. Eskenazi got out of the way and the hijack then jammed for Kornuth to call.

Chance Kornuth: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Hijack: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Kornuth's flopped trips were ahead and he prevailed on the {5-Diamonds} turn and {8-Clubs} river runout.
