Manesh Runs Out Kramp

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Timothy Kramp went all-in for 460,000 in early position and in the big blind, Mark Manesh called for 285,000.

Mark Manesh: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Timothy Kramp: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Manesh was in trouble against two queens. The flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} gave him a gutshot to a straight, and the turn {8-Hearts} added a flush draw on top of it. The river came the {k-Hearts} which completed the flush and gave Manesh a double through Kramp.

Theodore Corey and Russ Floyd wound up all in for Corey's last 750,000 on a flop of {7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Corey had {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for the flopped set, while Floyd had {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Floyd had a flush draw but missed the {4-Hearts}{a-Clubs} turn and river to double up Corey.

"I like how you flopped a set and tried to say you played it perfectly," Floyd said with a smile as the entire table shared in a laugh. "I had 11 outs twice."

Lyons Scoops a Monster

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Pat Lyons
Pat Lyons

Brian Nierkerk raised under the-gun to 80,000 and from the cutoff, Dana Katzenmeier went all-in for 315,000. Pat "World Famous," Lyons in the big blind thought about it briefly before calling the all-in. Niekerk re-raised all-in for 900,000 which Lyons snap-called and all cards were tabled.

Dana Katzenmeier: {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Pat Lyons: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Brian Nierkerk: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Lyons' aces held as he won a pot worth nearly 2 million chips, eliminated Katzenmeier and left Nierkerk with 90,000 in chips.

The very next hand, Lyons called the small blind and Nierkerk checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came out {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Lyons checked and Nierkerk shoved for 25,000. Lyons called and the cards were tabled.

Brian Nierkerk: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Pat Lyons: {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Lyons' flopped pair of nines was good enough for the elimination.

Collins Gets Call With Boat

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river with the board reading {4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Spades}. The pot was about 400,000 and Christopher Cummings was facing a decision as Williams Collins had moved all in for 710,000.

Cummings was deep in the tank. Eventually a player at the table called the clock and the floor began the countdown. Before it expired, Cummings tossed in the call.

Collins showed the {4-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the boat and Cummings mucked despite it being an all in and his cards were lost in the shuffle.

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Barry Greenstein
Barry Greenstein

Barry Greenstein was all in preflop and was slightly covered by Stuart Taylor.

Barry Greenstein: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Stuart Taylor: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Greenstein was ahead but would need to avoid an ace. However the flop sent Taylor into the lead the unconventional way as it came {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to give him trips and leave Greestein drawing thin.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and the river the {2-Hearts} to end Greenstein's run on Day 3.
