Silver Loses Some Chips

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

The button player opened to 800 and Nate Silver decided to three-bet to 3,200 in the big blind. It was called by the button and both players checked on the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and the {8-Diamonds} turn.

The river showed a {q-Clubs} and Silver check-called a bet for 5,000, but quickly mucked after his opponent revealed {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for two pairs.

Mateos Pays Off an Underpair

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Adrian Mateos called an early position raise and saw a flop of {10-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades} against two opponents.

The preflop raiser bet 1,300 on the flop and Mateos called, while the third player in the hand folded. The opponent fired a bet of 3,100 on the {q-Diamonds} turn and Mateos again called.

Both players then checked on the {4-Hearts} river and the opponent hesitantly showed Mateos that he had an underpair with {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. It was good as Mateos mucked his hand.

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Sonny Franco raised to 1,000 in early position and it was called by Matt Stout next to him as well as the small blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and after the small blind led out for 1,800, only Franco called. On the {6-Clubs} turn, Franco called another bet from his opponent for 3,700.

Both checked on the {q-Hearts} river and Franco revealed {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} to claim the pot, as his opponent sent {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} into the muck.
