Leng Calls It Off

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ryan Leng was put to the test of the river {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. There was about 100,000 already in the pot and his opponent put in a bet of 150,000, more than enough to cover Leng.

Leng thought it over, counting the 45,000 he still had behind. Eventually, he opted to call. His opponent showed {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens, and that was good against the {8-Spades}{9-Spades} of Leng.

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs} board was already dealt with a pot containing more than 70,000 when Joao Simao checked and faced a bet worth 35,000 from his opponent. After some thinking, Simao made the call.

The river was the {8-Spades} and both players checked. Simao mucked his cards when his opponent revealed {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a pair of kings.

Cowboys for Mandavia

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A short-stacked opponent went all-in for around 30,000 and Ankush Mandavia called in late position.

Opponent: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Ankush Mandavia: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came out {3-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and the {8-Clubs} gave Mandavia's opponent flush and straight outs. But the river came the safe {9-Diamonds} and Mandavia sent the opponent to the rail.

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a head's up pot, the flop showed {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} when Joni Jouhkimainen check-raised to 32,000 a bet worth 8,000 from his opponent. The latter made the call.

A {k-Clubs} came on the turn and Jouhkimainen sent a bet for 57,000, called once more. The {q-Spades} hit the river and time Jouhkimainen tossed a pile of 5,000 chips in the middle. It was enough for his opponent who let it go.
