Sandrock Notches Up Another Elimination

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Heads-up to the {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} turn, Amir Mirrasouli bet 30,000 and Chris Sandrock then raised the pot to 140,000. Mirrasouli tanked for 90 seconds and called, leaving himself just 21,000 behind. The {2-Diamonds} fell on the river and Mirrasouli checked. Sandrock grabbed into his massive tower of chips and bet 45,000.

Now it was up to Mirrasouli again as he tanked, then sigh-called. Sandrock rolled over the {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a straight and Mirrasouli flung his cards into the muck with force as they couldn't be retrieved with certainty before storming out of the tournament area.

On his former table, pretty much everyone just smiled as the Sandrock show added another chapter on Day 2.
