Glaser Further Increases the Lead

Level 24

Limit Hold'em

In a limped blind battle, the flop showed {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Jesse Klein bet for David Benyamine to call. The {k-Diamonds} turn was checked and Klein bet the {4-Diamonds} river for Benyamine to fold.

Klein then raised the button and Benny Glaser three-bet in the big blind, earning a call from Klein. Glaser bet the {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop and Klein came along to the {5-Spades} turn. Glaser bet once more and Klein folded.

"Three-handed is fun," Glaser admitted with a smirk. Klein then won two bets back the next hand but Glaser retained his solid lead.

Chad Eveslage
Chad Eveslage

Stud Hi-Lo

After being left with less than a bet after Jesse Klein made a flush on the previous hand, Chad Eveslage got his last 40,000 into the pot. Benny Glaser was the lone caller.

Chad Eveslage: {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} / {6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds} / {4-Hearts}
Benny Glaser: {a-Spades}{3-Hearts} / {7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades} / {7-Clubs}

Glaser's pair of sevens and the low ace were good enough to scoop both halves of the pot and eliminated Eveslage in fourth place.

Philip Sternheimer check-called fourth street and then bet fifth, which Glaser called. They got it in after sixth with Glaser showing eights and treys while Sternheimer had a pair of tens and massive combo draw.

"Do you want to go first or me?" Glaser asked. Sternheimer got shown the {j-Hearts} as a blank by Glaser, peeled and the {2-Hearts} as his final card was a complete blank. Just like that, the field was whittled down to the final four contenders.
