Vieira Chips Up Through Tayi; Gets Caught Bluffing by Peck

Level 29 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Vladimir Peck raised the button and was called by Venkata Tayi and Joao Vieira out of the blinds. Tayi took one while his opponents took two each. Tayi bet, Vieira raised and Peck folded while Tayi called. Both then took one each and Tayi's bet was called by Vieira. They patted the final draw and checked.

Tayi tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} but Vieira had that pipped with the {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

Vieira then raised out of the small blind and Peck called. Vieira took three and Peck one. After check-calling on this street, Vieira took two and Peck took one for the Portuguese to bet and Peck to call.

Both patted the final draw and Vieira bet once more. Peck only had 400,000 behind and called for three-quarters of that. Vieira turned over {7-}{7-}{7-}{6-}{4-} for a bluff and Peck essentially doubled with the {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}.
