Matthew Smith Eliminated in 18th Place ($6,579)

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Badugi

James Woods eventually bowed down to the aggression of chip leader Jason Daly and dropped below three big bets. One hand later, Matthew Smith was forced all-in from the big blind. Carlos Rodriguez raised and Joao Vieira called.

Smith patted and Rodriguez took two, Vieira took one card. The Portuguese poker pro then bet and Rodriguez folded.

Vieira patted the next two draws, as did Smith, who announced a queen and flashed the {q-Spades} briefly. Vieira had that beat with the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for a Seven-Dugi and sent Smith to the rail in 18th place for $6,579.
